It aint over 'till the tree comes down
We had so much Christmas and are still celebrating. We went to the zoo tonight to see the Christmas display. We couldn't get there before Christmas but it's still going until Sunday. It's nice. We walked around and road the train for about 3 hours. We originally planned to take a day trip to see an aunt, but she is ill so we will be staying home and making that blue cake I promised DS. He loves to help measure, pour and stir. My sincere hope is that he'll want to really cook some day. He'll need to learn some stuff if he never gets over the dairy allergy. (and the odds are not in our favor there) A few days ago DH got to take a day trip to Chicago with his friend who now lives far away. Miss you D & N. We still have a few more days until everyone is back to work and school. I wish we could make a trip south to see G'ma U and Aunt R. DH is still trying to arrange a visit with family in the same state. We feel like we are on vacation just getting to be together so much. DH and I have been having our TV dates nightly. Tonight we'll be sitting under the fleece blanket still in our long johns, watching the 2nd season of Boston Legal. We also have a Mac attached to the TV and frequently watch downloaded shows from Hulu or iTunes. It's sounds hokey, but it's nice. I hope everyone had a nice Holiday. Best Wishes for the New Year!
