To Serve
I have been thinking about my daughter and many older children without hope for adoption. I feel like I should do more for children in need. I greatly admire Mother Teresa. She just did it- dedicated her whole being to helping others. I saw this prayer in the hymnal two weeks ago and it touched me:
Make
us worthy, Lord, to serve those throughout the world who live and die
in poverty or hunger. Give then, through our hands, this day their
daily bread; and by our understanding love, give peace and joy. Amen.
